As someone who spent 10+ years working in various trades and who is also a second-generation entrepreneur, I’ve seen both sides of the coin — as an employee in the field and as a consumer hiring services. That experience showed me how easy it can be for homeowners to be pushed into unnecessary sales tactics or confusing contracts.

My goal with this list is simple: help protect homeowners and families from that kind of monetary trickery and bring things back to the basics — fair contracts, honest work, and transparent pricing.
